Southampton is preparing for a particularly busy Bank Holiday weekend, with ten cruise ships scheduled to call at the port between Friday 28 and Sunday 30 August 2026.

The three-day programme includes ships from P&O Cruises, Cunard, Disney Cruise Line, Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines, Celebrity Cruises, Princess Cruises and MSC Cruises.

Friday 28 August is scheduled to see three ships in port: Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines' Borealis, P&O Cruises' Britannia and Disney Cruise Line's Disney Dream.

Saturday is expected to be the busiest day of the weekend, with five cruise ships scheduled. P&O Cruises will have both Ventura and Iona in Southampton, alongside Celebrity Apex, Sky Princess and MSC Virtuosa.

The weekend programme is then due to conclude on Sunday 30 August with two more major ships: Cunard's Queen Anne and P&O Cruises' Arvia.

Southampton VTS says its cruise ship schedule is provisional and can change because of factors including weather, tides, technical issues and itinerary alterations. The port's live information is therefore the best source for the latest movements and berth information.
